Yati, Gowry, and Ah Chik are three Malaysian girls.
Yati is a Malay girl from Kelantan, northeast of Malaysia. Her parents own a batik factory that has been her family’s pride and joy for generations.
Ah Chik’s origins can be traced back ten generations to Fujian province, China. Her ancestors were traders who saw in Malaysia, a new future through commerce in the Straits of Malacca.
Gowry is a fashion designer. Her talent, and love of fabrics were passed down to her by her grandfather who was a textile merchant in Madras before he decided to relocate his family and business to Malaysia.
Yati, Gowry, and Ah Chik are three different girls, but they share a lot. A common passion is food. One of Malaysia’s famous dishes is "rojak". It is a salad - a wild mix of vegetables, fruits, chilies, squid, sauce, and assorted fried goodies. Sweet, sour, and spicy all at once. Sounds like it wouldn’t work, but it does. Malaysia is the same. Different ethnic groups have come together to share a land, opportunities, traditions, foods, languages, festivals, religions, and values to create a common modern history.
When you come to Malaysia, you do not just visit one country. You meet many cultures.
You will meet plenty of Yatis, Gowrys and Ah Chiks. Each will draw you into their own culture and will stay in your memory.
— Welcome, Selamat Datang, Huan Ying, Vanakam.

New colors and new cities!
Three new handbags to be added to our large colorful collection! They all come with the features that you liked on the other ones: a convenient size, contrasting lining, beautiful finish and amazing material like the pewter plates.
